Preparation Method :
- Heat the ghee in a thick-bottomed pan; add the cumin seeds. When the seeds begin to crackle, add the wax gourd and green chillies.
- Adjust seasoning with salt, reduce heat and cook covered till all the moisture evaporates. Do not add any water. Remove and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg Wax gourd, washed, scraped, cut into thin rounds
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 3-4 Green chillies, wiped cleaned, slit lengthwise
- Salt to taste
