Drain chick peas, reserving the liquid.
Cook the onions, ginger, garlic, chilies and turmeric in the ghee or oil until golden and softened.
Add the tomatoes and cook to soften, then add the coriander and chick peas. Cook for 10 minutes, add 1 cup of the reserved liquid and cook a further 10 minutes.
Add garam masala, lemon juice and stir in the coriander. Cook gently for 2-3 minutes, adding more liquid, if needed, to make a sauce.
Pour into a disk and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.

- 2 green chilies seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 3 large well ripened tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 2 tablespoon ground coriander
- 3 teaspoons garam masala
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons chopped coriander
- 2 tablespoon fresh pomegranate seeds
