Preparation Method :
- Heat a pan with two tablespoon of sesame oil. Add onions, garlic and ginger and saute till golden. Add the tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes and leave it aside.
- Cut cauliflower vertically into thick fingers.
- Make a thick batter by adding salt, pepper powder and adequate quantity of water to the refined flour.
- Heat two tablespoon of sesame oil in a shallow frying pan. Coat cauliflower fingers with the flour mixture and fry till the bottom side turns golden. Turn the fingers to the other side and fry till it turns golden.
- Add the masala to the cauliflower, cover and cook till done.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium Cauliflower
- 4 tablespoons IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 50 grams Refined flour (maida)
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 1 inch piece Ginger,finely chopped
- 3 pods Garlic, finely chopped
- 100 ml tomato puree
- 2 teaspoon of chopped coriander leaves
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
