CAULIFLOWER AND CARROT STIR-FRY

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok or heavy pan and add the bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and peppercorns with salt .
  • Simmer and stir-fry quickly for few seconds.
  • Add the carrot batons and cauliflower florets and continue to stir-fry for at least 5 minutes.
  • Add the peas, lemon juice and chopped coriander and cook for further 4-5 minutes. Serve garnished with the whole coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large carrots , into thin finger- batons
  • 1 small cauliflower, into small florets
  • 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 50 grams frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1½ tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • Salt to taste
