Preparation Method :
- Wash and shred the cabbage finely.
- Heat oil in a wok or pan. Simmer to low flame and add cumin seeds, sauté till it turns golden.
- Add onions and stir fry for 2 minutes or until transparent.
- Then add in ginger and turmeric with tomatoes, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, amchur and coriander powder. Stir fry till onions turn light brown.
- Finally add peas, cabbage and green chillies, Stir fry , cover and cook until they turn soft.
- Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams small cabbage - shredded
- 200 grams shelled peas - fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 onions - chopped
- 1" piece ginger - cut into thin match sticks
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tomatoes - chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon amchur
- 1 teaspoon corinader powder
- 2 green chillies
