INDIAN STIR-FRIED CABBAGE

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a large shallow pan and add the cumin and mustard seeds. When the seeds begin to sizzle, add the cabbage and stir- fry for a minute or two.
- Add the fresh red chillies and all of the ground spices. Stir-fry for about 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt.
- Cover and cook for about 5 minutes or until the cabbage is soft and translucent.
- Serve with Tomato Rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 550 grams white cabbage, finely shredded
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 2-3 red chillies, deseeded and finely sliced
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
Ground Spices
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon ginger paste
