BROCCOLI & CARROT BAKE

Preparation Method :
- Melt butter in a heavy bottomed pan or kadhai. Add onion and stir till soft. Add flour and stir for 20 -30 seconds on low flame.
- Add milk stirring continuously. Mix.
- Meanwhile cut the lower stem into thin round slices. Break the head into small florets. Cut their stalks into thin round slices.
- Add broccoli florets, the stalks and the carrots into the pan. Cook, stirring continuously until the vegetables are cooked, but firm to bite.
- Add cheese, salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Remove from fire.
- Transfer to a greased serving dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese and crushed peppercorns. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 200°C till golden and serve hot.

- 250 grams broccoli
- 2 carrots - cut into thin round slices
- 50 grams maida (flour)
- 50 grams butter
- 2 tablespoon chopped onion
- 500 ml milk
- 50 grams cheese - grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
