TOFU IN YOGURT CURRY

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the tofu into large cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour, add the chopped ginger, pureed tomatoes and salt and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add the chilli powder, coriander and turmeric and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the yogurt and green chilli and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the tofu, garam masala and coriander leaves and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams tofu
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 5cm piece root ginger, chopped
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 250 grams natural low-fat yogurt, whisked
  • 2 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
