Preparation Method :
- Grate coconut.
- Chop snake gourd into thin round pieces for 800 grams.
- Pressure cook snake gourd in salt water as specified for green vegetables.
- Add lesser water than other vegetables as it leaves water while cooking. Also, it avoids becoming soggy. Open and keep aside.
- Heat oil, splutter the mustard seeds, and add the red chilly. Now add the vegetable, stir well and remove from fire. Add grated coconut, mix.
- Serve hot with rice.

- 1 kg of snake gourd
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Red chilly halved
- 2 tablespoon coconut
- 1 teaspoon Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
