POTATOES IN YOGURT SAUCE

Preparation Method :
- Boil the potatoes in salted water with their skins on until they are just tender, then drain . Chop the coriander leaves finely and set it aside.
- Mix the yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, sugar, salt and water in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a medium heavy pan and stir in the cumin seeds. Fry until it splutter.
- Reduce the heat, stir in the yogurt mixture and cook for about 3 - 5 minutes over a medium heat.
- Add the cooked potatoes, green chilies and chopped coriander. Mix everything together and cook further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.

- Small bunch fresh coriander
- 500 grams potatoes, halved
- 250 grams natural low fat yogurt
- 350 ml water
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon soft brown sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies, sliced
