MUSHROOMS IN YOGURT SAUCE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Grease a non-stick frying pan and heat. Put the mushrooms in and stir-fry over high heat till only a little moisture remains.
  • Take care that the mushrooms do not dry up. Remove from heat and allow the mushrooms to cool. Pour in the spiced beaten yogurt and mix.
  • Serve hot garnished with slit green chillies and accompanied with rice or roti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220 grams Button mushrooms, washed, pat dry and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2-3 Green chillies, slit lengthwise

Yogurt Mixture

  • ¾ teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 150 grams Yogurt, whisked  
  • A pinch Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder and salt, to taste
