MUSHROOM KA SALAN

Preparation Method :

  • Fry the chopped onions in the oil until golden brown, Lower the heat and add cumin, coriander with bay leaves. Stir-fry for a further minute.
  • Add mushrooms and sultanas and continue to stir-fry, gradually by adding the remaining ingredients, finally add the cream and fresh coriander.
  • Cover and simmer for at least 2 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams onion, peeled and chopped 
  • 60 ml peanut oil 
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin 
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • 500 grams mushrooms, wiped or peeled and sliced
  • 100 grams sultanas 
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 75 ml fresh single cream 
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander 
  • 2 whole bay leaves
