MALABAR YAM AND BANANA CURRY

Preparation Method :
- Chop yam into medium square pieces.
- Chop ash gourd and banana in similar way.
- Soak thoor dal in boiling water for 15 minutes and pressure-cook for 5 whistles.
- Pressure-cook vegetables in boiling salt water; add turmeric powder, and pepper powder and cook for 1 whistle.
- Open lid, add the dal and stir over fire for a couple of minutes.
- Remove from gas; add coconut oil and curry leaves.
- Serve hot with rice.

- 250 gram of Yam
- 250 gram of raw banana
- 250 gram of ash gourd
- 100 gram of thoor dal
- 3 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3teaspoon Pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- A few curry leaves
- Salt to taste
