KERALA VEGETABLE GRAVY WITH METHI LEAVES

Preparation Method :
- Grate coconut.
- Fry urad dal and red chillies in half a teaspoon of oil and grind into a paste with jeera and coconut.
- Soak thoor dal in hot water for 15 minutes and pressure-cook for 5 whistles.
- Wash and chop methi or drumstick leaves.
- Chop vegetables as mini cubes
- Cook vegetables in pressure-pan for 1 whistle.
- Heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and mix with vegetables.
- Add the masala and dal to the vegetables and stir over flame for 2 minutes.
- Heat ½ teaspoon of oil and saute the methi leaves for a minute. Now add this to the Gravy and stir for a few minites.
- serve hot with rice.

- 200 grams of methi leaves
- 200 grams of Drumstick leaves
- 300 grams of thoor dal
Masala
- 2 teaspoon of Urad dal
- 4 Red chillies
- 2 tablespoon of jeera
- 200 grams of coconut
