JACKFRUIT AND POTATO CURRY

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok or pan; add the jackfruit and potatoes, sauté for 10 minutes and keep aside.
  • Reheat the oil, add onions, ginger-garlic paste and the Dried spices. Saute for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till the oil separates from the sides of the wok.
  • Add jackfruit, potatoes, salt and water. Cook till the vegetables turn tender.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams Jackfruit, diced
  • 150 grams Potatoes, diced
  • 100 ml Cooking oil
  • 50 grams Onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • Red chilli powder and Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 75 grams Tomatoes, chopped
  • 350 ml Water
