Preparation Method :
- Cut the green chillies to round shapes.
- Peel and cut the small onions to small pieces.
- Soak the tamarind and take the extract. Keep aside.
- Heat a heavy bottomed vessel or kadai with oil. Tamper with mustard seeds, fenugreek, and curry leaves.
- Put in the green chillies and onion pieces. Fry them on a low flame. When it fried well add the tamarind extract, salt and turmeric powder.
- Add necessary water. When it gets a thick form, remove from flame.
- This green chilli kulambu can be used as thokku or pickle.
- Good combinations for curd rice, idly and dosha.

- 100 grams green chillies
- 30 small onions
- Few curry leaves
- 1 small lemon sized tamarind
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt
- 50 ml Gingelly oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek
