Preparation Method :

  • Grind the peas to a thick paste,without adding water.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds. When they begin to pop up, add green chilli paste, onion and sauté till the onion turns light brown in color.
  • Add tomato paste and saute till the mixture is dry.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Once the masala starts leaving out the oil, add the green peas paste to the same and mix well.
  • Simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Now, add  two glasses of water to the same and let it boil in high flame for 2-3 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Fresh Green Peas, boiled
  • 2 Big Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, ground to a fine paste
  • 2 Green Chillies, ground to a fine paste
  • 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ a teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 5 teaspoons cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
