Preparation Method :

  • Add the cooked lentils with garlic powder, ground cumin and garam masala, simmer the dhal for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in the ghee and adjust seasoning with salt to taste. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley sprigs.

INGREDIENTS

  • 225 grams red lentils, rinsed, soaked, drained and cooked
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sprigs of parsley, to garnish
