BELL PEPPER AND GARLIC THOKKU

Preparation Method :
- Heat up the pressure pan, add oil, mustards, fenugreek seeds curry leaves. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add green bell pepper, onions, garlic flakes, ginger, green chillies to the pan. Sauté until all get translucent and cooked.
- Add turmeric powder and salt.
- Finally add tamarind paste along with 2 cups of water to the pan.
- Cover the lid and pressure cook it for 10-15 minutes, until the mixture get smashed and mixed up with tamarind water.
- Once oil gets separated from the bell pepper mixture, the dish is done.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.

- 1 Large green bell pepper, finely chopped (Seeds Included)
- 20 nos Garlic flakes, finely chopped
- ½ inch Ginger root, finely chopped
- 15 nos Shallots (small onions), finely chopped
- 5 nos Green chillies, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoon Tamarind paste
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Mustard
- ½ teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 100 ml Gingelly oil
- Water as required
