Preparation Method :
- Chop beetroot into small square pieces.
- Chop onions very finely.
- Heat water in a pressure-pan and add required salt. Now wash the beetroot and add.
- Toss vegetables well for a minute until it turns real red. Now pressure-cook for 1 whistle. Remove lid to retain the rich colour.
- Allow mustard seeds to splutter in the oil and add curry leaves, onions and turmeric powder.
- Stir the onions well until light golden in colour. Add sambhar powder and the cooked beetroot and stir well for a minute.
- Serve hot with rice.

- 200 grams of Onion
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- A few curry leaves
- A pinch turmeric Powder
- A pinch Sambhar Powder
- 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
