BANANA IN YOGHURT GRAVY

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Grate coconut.grind with rice and green chillies.
  • Peel off the outer skin of the banana with the help of a knife. Now slice into thin round pieces whilst rolling the fibre in the forefinger.
  • chop into half inch thin pieces and soak in diluted lassi water.
  • Beat yoghurt.
  • Wash the vegetable in water and pressure-cook, with salt for a whistle.
  • Heat the coconut oil in a pan and roast the mustard seeds. Add the curry leaves and the cooked vegetables. Stir.
  • Now add the yoghurt and the masala ingredients and stir over medium fire for 3 minutes.
  • When it thickens remove from fire.
  • Serve hot with rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams of bananas
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 500 ml of yoghurt
  • A few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

Masala 

  • 500 grams of coconut
  • 4 tablespoons rice
  • 6 Green chillies
