Preparation Method :
- Boil whole tomatoes in water for 5 minutes. Remove from water and let them cool. Grind to a puree along with the peel. Keep aside.
- Dry roast coriander seeds, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and whole red chillies for 2 minutes. Cool and grind to a powder Keep aside:
- Grind garlic, ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves with water to a green paste. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a clean kadhai, add the chopped onions, cook till slightly golden.
- Add the sliced onions and cook till golden brown.
- Add the green paste and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the purred tomatoes and mix well for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and red chilli powder and mix.
- Now add the potatoes and the powdered dry masala. Mix well for 2 minutes on very low heat. Remove from heat. Transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and roasted sesame seeds. Serve with puri or roti.

- 100 grams green coriander leaves
Dry Masala
- 2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 whole dry red chillies
Other Ingredients
- 6 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 2 onions-chopped
- 1 onion-sliced
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
Garnish
- Chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
