TOASTED CHEESY PANNEER SANDWICH

Preparation Method :
- Heat a pan on a medium flame and add the butter to it. Allow the butter to melt and add the crushed cumin seeds, the green chillies and the onion and fry till the onion turns translucent.
- Now add the tomato puree, the turmeric powder, the red chilli powder and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for two minutes.
- Then add the cottage cheese and stir-fry for about four minutes. Remove from flame and allow it to cool.
- Now, take a slice of bread, layer with a sheet of cheese and the next layer with cottage cheese and cover with a layer of cheese and a slice of bread.
- Toast the sandwich till crispy and golden.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams of cottage cheese, to be broken into small fragments
- 3 teaspoon of butter
- 8 sheets of cheese
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, crushed coarsely
- 2 green chillies, chopped finely
- 1 onion, chopped finely
- 2 tomatoes, to be pureed
- 1/4 teaspoonsof turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 8 slices of sandwich bread of your choice
- Butter
