Preparation Method :
- Filling: Heat oil in a non stick pan and add onion seeds and cumin seeds. Saute till it crackles.Then add in the chopped onion and Saute for about 20 - 30 seconds.
- Add chicken pieces. Stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes and lower heat and cook till the chicken turns tender.
- Add garlic, ginger, chillies, salt, coriander power, chopped mint and lemon juice. Mix well and remove from heat. Cool.
- To prepare the outer covering, add chat masala, salt and chilli powder to mashed potatoes. Mix well and keep aside.
- Make small balls of mashed potatoes. Flatten each ball on the palm of your hand.
- Put 1 tablespoon of filling in it. Wrap the potato mixture around the filling and flatten like cutlet.
- Heat oil in a shallow frying pan.
- Dip each cutlet in beaten egg, roll in suji and shallow fry on both sides till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Garnish with mint leaves and onion rings.

- 1 teaspoon onion seeds
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 large onion - chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic - chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger - chopped
- 2 green chillies - chopped
- 2 red chillies - chopped
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 5 large potatoes - boiled and mashed
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 egg beaten with few drop of lemon and salt
- 150 grams suji
- Cooking oil for shallow frying
- Salt to taste
