- Place the chicken in a heavy-bottomed pan with the butter and sauté over medium-high heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Discard any liquid in the pan. Add the wine and stir in the flour. Simmer over low heat until the chicken is tender, about 50 minutes. Add the stock as required during cooking to keep the chicken moist.
- Arrange the chicken on a serving dish and drizzle with the lemon juice. Serve hot, dusted with extra nutmeg.
