Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the onions till golden brown. Drain with a slotted spoon and cool.
- Blend the browned onions, ginger, garlic, cashewnuts and drained poppy seeds to a smooth paste.
- Add in the mince, garam masala, chilli powder and salt to the onion paste in a mixer blender. Blend thoroughly to get a sticky consistency.
- Transfer the mixture in a bowl and keep aside. Refrigerate at least for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C or heat the gas tandoor on gas.
- Shape the mince mixture around the skewers.
- Roast in the tandoor or oven for 10 minutes. Baste with little oil.
- Remove from the skewers, sprinkle lemon juice and chat masala. Garnish with onion rings, chopped mint. Serve hot.

- 1" piece ginger
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds - soaked

- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice, chat masala, onion rings
