GALOUTI KEBABS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat a non stick pan. Add the besan and roast on medium heat till the light brown.
  • Place the mince in a strainer and squeeze out excess water.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion till golden brown. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and grind to paste.
  • Place the mince in a mixer blender. Add the brown onion paste, ginger- garlic paste, egg, salt, chilli and garam masala. Blend to get a sticky consistency. Remove in a bowl.
  • Add roasted besan to the mince mixture with the chopped coriander and keep aside till frying.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan. Shape the mince into flat tikkis. Shallow fry on medium heat till brown on both sides.
  • Garnish with onion rings and a mint sprig.    

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams lamb mince, Wash. Press well to squeeze out all the excess water. 
  • 2 onion - cut into slices
  • 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoon gram flour 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala 
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder 
  • Salt to taste 
  • IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for frying
