FRIED FISH

Serves :
4

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix all ingredients of the marinade together in a small bowl, rub the marinade on the fish and keep it aside for 20 - 30 minutes.
  • While serving coat the fish fillets on bread crumbs and fry on medium heat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with tomato ketchup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams white fish fillet - Rub lemon juice on the fillets and wash fish well and pat dry.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, some dry bread crumbs
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying

Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste 
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder 
  • 1 teaspoon tomato sauce 
  • 1 egg white 
  • A few coriander leaves - chopped

Tartar Sauce to Serve

  • 75 ml mayonnaise
  • 50 ml brown vinegar 
  • 1 tablespoon very finely chopped cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
