CUBED LAMB KEBABS

Preparation Method :

  • Add the cubed meat to the spice paste and mix until it is well coated.
  • Thread the meat cubes on skewers, alternating with the tomatoes, pickling onions, mushrooms and bell peppers.
  • Brush the meat and vegetables with the oil.
  • Grill the kebabs under a pre-heated grill for 20-25 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.
  • When cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Arrange lemon wedges on the side and serve immediately with boiled rice and a raita.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg lean lamb, boned and cubed, washed, apply the tenderizer set aside
  • 1 teaspoon meat tenderizer
  • 10 tomatoes, cut in half
  • 10 small pickling onions
  • 20 mushrooms
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • 25 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 2 lemons, cut into quarters, to garnish

Spicy Paste Add little water

  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, finely chopped
  • 3-4 fresh garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt, to taste
