Preparation Method :
- Lay each piece of chicken on a hard surface and beat it with a meat hammer or a heavy rolling pin until it becomes flat and stretched out. The size of the pieces will increase.
- Mix together the soy sauce, vinegar and garlic, pour it over the chicken pieces, turning to coot both sides, and marinate the chicken for 2 hours.
- Just before cooking the steaks, prepare the vegetables: Cut the tomatoes in half, sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper and keep aside.
- Peel the onions and cut each into thick rounds. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into thick slices.
- Lightly grease a frying pan and place it on a hot stove. Lower the heat and add the chicken pieces, one or two at a time. The pieces should be placed flat and stretched out.
- Increase the heat and cook for about 1 - 2 minutes on each side. Spread about 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce on both sides of the steaks and continue cooking.
- Place the steaks on dinner plates. (Cook the steaks just before serving.)
- Place the tomatoes, seasoned side down, in the same pan and cook them till the sugar caramelises. Cook on one side only, remove, and place on the dinner plate, next to the steak.
- In the same pan, add the onions and mushrooms, and stir until they are just beginning to cook. Add any remaining sauces or marinade.
- Stir for a minute, add about 1 tablespoon of water to deglaze the pan, then take it off the stove.
- Divide the vegetables into 4 portions and place them on the side of the steaks. Serve hot with a tossed salad and bread.

- 1 teaspoon garlic (lasan), ground
- 2 tomatoes sugar to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 onions
- 6 large mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Cooking oil to shallow-fry
