Preparation Method :
- Soak the brown poha in water for 20 minutes. Drain well.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions and chillies and saute for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the roasted peanuts and turmeric, followed by the soaked poha and salt. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the peas and lemon juice and mix again.
- Garnish with the fresh coriander and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams brown flattened rice
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon black mustard seeds
- 15 curry leaves
- 4 medium-size onions, chopped
- 4 green chillies, slit and seeded
- 50 grams roasted unsalted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100 grams peas, cooked
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 5 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
