Preparation Method :
- Chop pineapple into small pieces Squeeze juice of 3 oranges.
- Slit green chilly into half.
- Heat oil, and allow mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add water, pineapple pieces, green chillies and salt. Boil for about 3 minutes.
- Add orange juice and boil in medium fire for two minutes.
- Mash the cooked dal well. As soon as the sediments settle at the bottom, pour the dal water into the rasam mixture.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve as soup.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 sour Oranges
- 2 slice (tinned) Pineapple
- 2 green chilly
- 100 grams of Thoor dal
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
