MAGAR NONBU PUTTU

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the rice in water and grind powder.
  • Scrape the coconut.
  • Mix the rice powder, coconut scraping and sugar well.
  • Heat the idly makers bottom with 2 cups water.
  • Keep the rice mix in the compartments of idly maker trays.
  • Keep the idly trays inside the idly maker and close the lid.
  • Cook it for 10 minutes.                 
  • Remove from flame.
  • Take out the trays the rice mix now will be in idly shape which is called puttu. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams parboiled rice
  • 200 grams sugar
  • ½ coconut
