Preparation Method :
- Soak the rice in water and grind powder.
- Scrape the coconut.
- Mix the rice powder, coconut scraping and sugar well.
- Heat the idly makers bottom with 2 cups water.
- Keep the rice mix in the compartments of idly maker trays.
- Keep the idly trays inside the idly maker and close the lid.
- Cook it for 10 minutes.
- Remove from flame.
- Take out the trays the rice mix now will be in idly shape which is called puttu.

- 400 grams parboiled rice
- 200 grams sugar
- ½ coconut
