Preparation Method :
- In a vessel, add ¼ cup of water along with the jaggery and stir till the jaggery melts.
- Filter the jaggery syrup and keep it aside.
- In a heavy bottomed vessel, fry the wheat rava till the aroma pops out.
- Transfer to a plate and rest it to cool.
- On the same vessel, boil 300 ml of water and add the wheat rava constantly and cook well.
- Now add the jaggery syrup and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile add ghee and stir.
- Add Elachi powder and stir it till the mixture binds well and it should not stick to the vessel.
- Now in a small pan, add 1 tablespoon of ghee and roast the cashews.
- Garnish the wheat rava chakarapongal with the roasted cashews and serve.

- 100 grams Wheat rava
- 225 grams Jaggery
- 50 ml water
- 1 teaspoon Elaichi powder
- 10 cashews
- 4 tablespoon Ghee
