Preparation Method :
- Boil the potatoes, peel and dice the potato into cubes.
- Wash the sabudana thoroughly, drain and set aside. Sprinkle the sabudana with some water and toss them with a spoon. Repeat this process every 30 minutes till the sabudana turns soft.
- Add sugar and salt to the sabudana and mix gently.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the cumin seeds and when it splutters, add the green chillies and the potatoes.
- Then add the sabudana, mix and cook for sometime covered on medium flame, tossing it occasionally till the sabudhana turns transparent.
- Remove from flame , add the cashew nuts, the grated coconut and the chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot.

- 200 grams of sabudana
- 2 potatoes
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- Salt to taste
- 50 grams of roasted and coarsely ground Cashew nuts
- 4 green chillies, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds
- 3 teaspoons of butter
- ½ coconut, grated
- 1 small bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
