RAVA IDLI

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the rava, baking soda, salt and curd and make a thick paste similar to idli batter. Set aside for 1 hour to ferment.
  • After the batter ferments, heat sesame oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.
  • Once its splutter, add curry leaves and green chillies and Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the seasoning in the batter.
  • Grease the idli plates with oil. Pour the batter in the idli plates and sprinkle grated carrot, cashew nuts and coconut on them.
  • Steam it for 10 minutes.
  • Take it out and serve hot with chutney.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Rava
  • 400 ml Curd
  • 1 tablespoon Carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon coconut, grated
  • 50 grams cashew, splits
  • 3 pinch Baking soda
  • Salt to taste

Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 10 Curry leaves
