Preparation Method :
- Mix the rava, baking soda, salt and curd and make a thick paste similar to idli batter. Set aside for 1 hour to ferment.
- After the batter ferments, heat sesame oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.
- Once its splutter, add curry leaves and green chillies and Fry for 2 minutes.
- Pour the seasoning in the batter.
- Grease the idli plates with oil. Pour the batter in the idli plates and sprinkle grated carrot, cashew nuts and coconut on them.
- Steam it for 10 minutes.
- Take it out and serve hot with chutney.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams Rava
- 400 ml Curd
- 1 tablespoon Carrot, grated
- 1 tablespoon coconut, grated
- 50 grams cashew, splits
- 3 pinch Baking soda
- Salt to taste
Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 Green chillies
- 10 Curry leaves
