RAVA DOSAI

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Chop chillies and ginger finely
  • Mix yoghurt, salt, asafoetida and curry leaves with refined flour, rava and rice flour.
  • Roast mustard seeds, jeera and chillies in oil. Add with ginger into the batter.
  • Add the curry leaves curds and asafoetida into the batter and mix well.
  • Add water to make a thin batter. Prepare dosa by pouring with ladle.
  • spread by holding handle and tilting on all sides so that it spreads evenly on the tava.
  • Prepare rava dosa by keeping the gas in medium high.
  • To prepare Onion Rava Dosa, chop small onions fine, saute a little in a teaspoon of oil and add to the batter.
  • Serve hot with tomato onion sambhar.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Refined flour
  • 200 grams Rava
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon Jeera
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves a few
  • 6 Chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 100 ml Yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • IDHAYAM Sesame oil for dosa
  • Salt to taste
