CHEESE OOTHAPPAM

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the griddle and pour a ladleful of batter to make a thick dosai. Make sure not spread the batter thin.
  • Pour a teaspoon of oil round the edges of the batter.
  • Mix the chopped capsicum, grated cheese and coconut with green chillies and coriander leaves in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle a tablespoon of the coconut mixture evenly over the top of the thick dosai. Fry till base is golden.
  • Turn the oothappam carefully and fry till done.
  • Serve hot with any chutney.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 green chillies, chopped fine
  • A small bunch of coriander leaves, chopped fine
  • 300 ml leftover sour dosai batter
  • 1 capsicum, chopped fine
  • 50 grams grated cheese
  • 50 grams grated coconut
  • Cooking Oil for shallow frying
