Preparation Method :
- Extract juice of lemon.Chop green chillies finely.
 - Heat 400 ml of water in a large pan. Add salt and a teaspoon of oil. Now add the semia and stir for a minute. Make sure the semia is soft and not pasty. Now drain it over in a strainer.
 - Splutter the mustard seeds and then roast the chana dal in a tablespoon of oil.
 - Now add the green chillies, asafoetida powder and turmeric powder. Add strained semia into the pan and mix well. Now add the curry leaves, salt and the lemon juice.
 - Serve cooled.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 300 grams of Semia
 - 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice
 - A pinch Turmeric powder
 - 6 Green chillies
 - 1 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
 - A few Curry leaves
 - 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
 - 1 teaspoon chana dal
 - 4 tablespoons Cooking Oil
 - Salt to taste
