Preparation Method :
- Soak the rice and the dals for 30 minutes add the red chillies and coarsely grind. Keep aside Finely chop onions.
- Finely chop coriander leaves.
- Prepare the Adai batter into sem-pasty consistency and add the required salt, chopped onions and coriander leaves, curry leaves and the asafoetida powder to it.
- Make ready a non stick tava and prepare pancakes with five holes in the adai and add a little oil as in the previous adai. When one side is done to a golden colour turn side. In half a minute, it is done.
- Serve hot with chutney.

- 300 grams of Parboiled Rice
- 200 grams of Thoor dal
- 100 grams of Urad dal
- 300 grams of Onion
- 2 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
- 200 grams of Coriander leaves
- 8 Red chillies
- 100 grams of Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
