Preparation Method :
- Soak dal and rice for 30 minutes and coarsely grind with ginger and green chillies.
- Chop onions finely.
- Prepare batter into a semi-consistency paste. And salt, chopped onion, asafoetida powder and curry leaves to it.
- In a non-stick pan prepare as for dosai adding half a teaspoon of oil around the pesarat. When one side is done turn over and keep for half a minute.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.

- 800 grams of Moong dal
- 350 grams of Parboiled Rice
- 2 tablespoon Ginger
- 6 Green chillies
- 200 grams of Onions
- 2 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
- 100 grams of Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
