Preparation Method :
- Take a bowl , mix the yogurt, gram flour, chili powder, turmeric and salt .
- Press the mixture through a strainer into a pan. Add the green chilies and simmer for about 10 -15 minutes, stir occasionally, without boiling .
- Heat the oil in a heavy pan and fry the remaining spices, crushed garlic and fresh ginger until the dried chilies turn black.
- Pour the oil and spices over the yogurt soup, cover the pan and leave to rest for few minutes off the heat.
- Mix well and gently reheat for a further 3-5 minutes. Ladle into warmed soup bowls and serve hot, garnished with the coriander leaves.

- 5 curry leaves
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 inch piece of fresh root ginger, crushed

- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, to garnish
