VADA IN YOGHURT GRAVY

Preparation Method :
- Soak urad dal and grind as for 'Ulundu Vadai' and deep fry in oil. Keep aside.
- Beat yoghurt into lassi.
- Grind masala ingredients.
- Dip vadais in hot water, squeeze and place them in a flat vessel.
- Blend the beaten yoghurt with the masala paste and keep aside.
- Pour the yoghurt over the vadais and soak for an hour.
- Serve, sprinkled with 'boondhis' and chilly powder.
INGREDIENTS
- 300 grams Urad dal
- 4 Green chillies
- 2 teaspoon asafoetida
- 4 tablespoon Kara Boondhi
- 1 teaspoon Chilly powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 liter Yoghurt
Masala
- 200 grams Grated coconut
- 4 Green chillies
- 100 grams Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
