Preparation Method :
- Mix all the ingredients together. Add sufficient water to make a stiff batter.
- Heat oil in a kadhai or wok. Wet both your hands. Take a ladle of batter and place it on the palm.
- Flatten the batter. Slip the batter gently into the oil.
- Fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on a sheet of kitchen paper. Serve hot with mint chutney.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams rice flour
- 100 grams fine semolina
- 100 grams refined flour
- 50 ml ghee
- 4-5 green chillies, chopped fine
- 2 medium-sized onions, chopped fine
- A small bunch of coriander leaves, chopped fine
- ½ teaspoon asafoetida powder
- Salt to taste
