YAM PEAS CUTLET

Preparation Method :

  • Mix maida, egg white, water and a pinch of salt and make a batter. keep aside.
  • Cut onion and green chilli into fine pieces.
  • Boil the yam and peas.
  • Heat the kadai with IDHAYAM SESAME OIL. Fry the onion and green chilli, add all the powders. Fry well.
  • Add the boiled yam and peas.
  • Along with boiled yam and peas,add salt, mashed potatoes and coriander leaves. Remove kadai from stove and let it cool.mix well with hand.
  • Make small balls of this mixture and flatten it like a Cutlet.
  • Boil Idhayam Sesame Oil in a shallow frying pan.
  • Dip the properly shaped mixture in to the batter and roll it in the bread crust powder.
  • Shallow fry it both the sides.
  • Serve the hot cutlets with sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams yam, cut into pieces
  • 100 grams peas
  • 2 onions
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¾ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 100 grams egg white
  • 100 grams maida
  • 200 grams powdered bread crusts
  • IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
