Preparation Method :
- Mix all the ingredients for the khandvi in a deep bowl.
- Microwave at 80% power for 5 minutes, stirring in between.
- Repeat the process till the mixture thickens.
- Take out the mixture and spread it as thin as possible on big plates with the help of a flat spoon.
- As it cools, cut out broad strips and roll each to make several small rolls and serve them in a serving dish.
- Take all the tempering ingredients in a small bowl and microwave at 100% for two minutes.
- Pour this on the khandvi rolls kept in the serving dish.
- Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut over the khandvi.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams curd
- 100 grams gram flour (besan)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon chilli ginger paste
- Salt to taste
For Tempering
- 2 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
- 2 green chillies slit
- 8-10 curry leaves
For Garnishing
- 1 tablespoon grated coconut
- 2 tablespoon chopped coriander
