Preparation Method :
- Combine the potatoes, soya granules, vegetables, peanuts, coriander, ginger- green chilli paste, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Divide it into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into flat round tikki.
- Roll each tikki in sesame seeds till it is evenly coated from all the sides.
- Cook the tikkis on a non-stick tawa using ¼ teaspoon of sesame oil till turns golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
- 50 grams soya granules, soaked and drained
- 3 tablespoon finely chopped carrots
- 3 tablespoon finely chopped French beans
- 3 tablespoon boiled fresh green peas, lightly mashed
- 2 tablespoon peanuts, roasted and coarsely crushed
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- 1 teaspoon ginger- green chilli paste
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds for coating
- 2 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil for cooking
