SPICED BARBECUED CORN ON THE COB

Preparation Method :

  • Prepare the corn on the cob and set aside.
  • Preheat the grill if you are using it.
  • In a small bowl mix together the chilli powder, salt and lemon juice. Melt the butter and add this to the mixture.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush each corn on the cob with the spice mixture and grill them, turn occasionally and baste with more spice mixture.
  • Serve each one with two lemon wedges.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 -7 corn on the cob, peeled and wiped clean
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 100 grams butter
  • 2 lemons, cut into 12 wedges
