SABOODANA KA MAZAA

Preparation Method :

  • Soak saboodana in warm water for 1 hour.
  • Drain well.
  • Mix grated boiled potatoes, bread crumbs, khus-khus, ginger, green chili, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, amchoor and salt.
  • Mix in the mashed paneer gently. Shape into 12 balls.
  • Flatten each ball and place a drop of malai and 1 kishmish. Make a ball again.
  • Press each piece on saboodana spread on a plate so that it sticks. Flatten some more. Deep fry 2-3 pieces in a kadai at a time in medium hot oil till golden.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams saboodana
  • 2 teaspoons khus khus
  • 3 potatoes, boiled and grated
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 green chili- chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green coriander
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  •  ½ teaspoon amchoor
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 grams roughly mashed paneer
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying

To Fill

  • 1 tablespoon thick malai
  • 12 kishmish - soaked in water
