POTATO CHOPS

Preparation Method :
- Fry the onions, ginger and garlic gently until golden, add the spices for 1 minute and then add the mince. Cook the mince till fully cooked. Drain and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Make a small balls out of the mashed potato.
- Fill the mince mixture in the centre of each mashed potato balls. Shape it like a chops.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Roll the potato balls in the beaten egg and dip in the breadcrumbs.
- Deep Fry the balls until golden brown colour.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Potatoes, peeled, boiled, mashed
- 250 grams lean lamb mince
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 inch root ginger
- 250 grams Breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs beaten
- IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut Oil for frying
